Cold-rolled galvanized steel sheet is a type of galvanized steel that is processed using a cold-rolling technique. Cold-rolling involves passing the steel sheet through a series of rollers at a temperature below its recrystallization point, which enhances its strength and hardness while reducing its thickness. The cold-rolling process also produces a smooth and uniform surface finish on the steel sheet.
After the cold-rolling process, the galvanized steel sheet is then coated with a layer of zinc using a hot-dip galvanizing process, which provides excellent corrosion resistance. The zinc coating also acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the underlying steel from corrosion.
