ERW steel pipe

SAW carbon steel pipes is short for submerged arc welding steel pipe,it can be classified into longitudinal submerged arc welding steel pipe(LSAW steel pipe) and spiral submerged arc welding steel pipe(SSAW steel pipe).SAW is a manufacturing process using submerged arc welding of steel,this process produces high current density,which prevents the flux layer from losing heat quickly and concentrates in the welding region.Commonly used standard is API 5L.

ERW carbon steel pipe is short for electric resistance welded steel pipe,it is welded by high frequency welding certain size strip steel rolled into a round tube and straight seam welded steel pipe.ERW has the characteristics of high efficiency,low cost,material saving and easy automation,it is widely used in aviation,aerospace,energy, electronics,automotive,light industry and other industrial sectors,is an important link in the welding process.

Electric Resistance Weld (ERW) Carbon Steel Pipe is manufactured by cold forming carbon steel into pipe. The pipe is formed by rolling carbon steel plate and then welding the seam with an electric current.

Carbon steel pipes are divided into two types: hot-rolled and cold-rolled (drawn) steel pipes. Hot-rolled carbon steel pipes are divided into general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, geological steel pipes and other steel pipes.

In addition to general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, and other steel pipes, cold-rolled (dial) carbon steel pipes also include carbon thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes, Rust thin-walled steel pipes, special-shaped steel pipes. The outer diameter of hot-rolled seamless pipe is generally greater than 32mm, and the wall thickness is 2.5-75mm. The outer diameter of cold-rolled seamless steel pipe can reach 6mm, and the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm. The outer diameter of thin-walled pipe can reach 5mm, and the wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. Cold rolling has higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling.

Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welding Pipe is subdivided into UOE, RBE, JCOE steel pipe according to its different forming methods. Longitudinal high-frequency welded steel pipe has the characteristics of relatively simple process and fast continuous production, and has wide use in civil construction,petrochemical, light industry and other sectors. Mostly used to transport low pressure fluids or made into various engineering components and light industrial products.

SSAW steel pipe, also known as spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe, is a spiral welded steel pipe produced by double-sided submerged arc welding. Spiral welded pipes are formed using narrower sheets or hot rolled coils, which greatly reduces their production costs. The spiral welding process allows the production of large diameter pipes suitable for transporting large quantities of oil and gas.

Carbon steel is commonly used for welded pipes because of its high hardness, strength, wear resistance, and anti-corrosion features. Carbon steel welded pipes are commonly used in the following industries and applications:
