Product Description
Type of Carbon steel Beam
Structural Steel Beams come in I-Beam, W-Beam, Tee-Beam and H-Beam. All are designed to span an area for support in construction. The shape of a bean affects the overall strength and weight. W or Wide Flange Beams have a broad flange on either side of the web. They are the most common due to their proven ability to withstand shear loads and bending.

production process of carbon Steel Beam
① Edge rolling mill(variable caliber depth of upper and lower rolls)
Meeting the need for widely ranging web thicknesses by varying upper and lower roll positions to produce fixed widths.
② Skewed roll rolling mill
Flexible control of depth using skew rolls
③ Finish rolling mill
Provision of wide-ranging flange thicknesses by controlling the depth to a fixed level and changing upper/lower roll-body widths

carbon Steel beam applications
Carbon steel beam is an economical and efficient cross-section material with reasonable cross-sectional area arrangement and reasonable strength to weight ratio. It is widely used in construction projects such as industrial plants, civil buildings, bridges, and railway electrified supports. Advantages of low weight and light weight.

cutting Service
For parts that require extremely high wear resistance, we use abrasive waterjet cutting to maintain hardness throughout the part without creating a heat-affected zone. For thicker plates up to 200mm, we use precisely controlled CNC oxy-fuel cutting. For products requiring high cut quality and dimensional tolerances, we use high-definition underwater plasma cutting to maximize plate performance in abrasive applications.

frequently asked questions
A36 is a widely preferred and versatile low-carbon low-cost steel known for its yield strength (36,000 psi) and excellent machinability. A36 can elongate to about 20% of its original length, and is commonly used for columns, beams, decking and finish elements.
I-beam is stronger in bending than H-beam because its flanges provide resistance against the load and support each other when the beam bends. The flanges of an H-beam don’t have this advantage, so they tend to buckle under high loads and fail more easily under bending stress.
While both carbon fiber and steel are supremely resistant to deformation, steel is far denser and carbon fiber is about five times lighter in weight, making it roughly five times stronger than steel in this respect.
